10x sheets of square paper (I used 8?x 8? 150gsm card stock) String Craft knife (scissors would work ok too)
Be careful of the thickness of the paper you use, as any thicker than 150gsm will be difficult to fold. Ideally you would want 130gsm or less, to get the cleanest lines possible for your origami star.
I decided to make a video to show you how to fold an origami star, because I think it’s easier to learn these things by watching. It was filmed on my phone, so not the finest quality, but hopefully it will be helpful.
